Requests to use the app

Your account

You, and anybody who shares your list with you. They see your cats and your foods. Nobody else on this screen can.

Who is allowed in

People the app will let sign in, each with their own list of cats. They cannot see yours. Taking somebody off does not touch their cats or their history, it just stops the app letting them in next time.

Invite someone to try it

Two steps. Their address goes on the list of people allowed in, then you send them the link. Without the first step the link is no use to them: they can put in their email, but the app will tell them they are waiting to be let in. They get their own list of cats and cannot see yours.

Ask about your cats

Ask anything about what is in your list and it works the answer out from your own records. Your cats, foods, feeds, water and top ups are sent for the question to be answered, and nothing is kept afterwards.

      So the cupboard can say how many pouches, and two foods can be compared by weight rather than by the price on the shelf.

      Leave this at 1 if you buy them singly. Set it to 12 for a box of twelve pouches, and the app will work out what one pouch costs whenever you log the price of a whole box.

      This food warns when that many or fewer are left.

      Tick this if it is always there. Topping the bowl up will not mark a cat as fed.

      The walk through from the first time the app was opened. It fits itself to your account: it never asks you to add cats you already have, and it only shows what your access can actually do.

      Group brands and sub brands here. For example; Purina, Purina One and Purina Pro Plan can all be grouped together as one brand.

      Multipacks

      A box that holds more than one of your foods. Buying it adds them all in one go and works out what each one really cost. The box is not a food: it only ever appears as a way to buy, on the foods you put inside it.

      Feeding times

      Catisfied uses these to tell you whether a cat has had their current meal, rather than just whether they ate at some point today.

      The feed screen starts here, so most feeds are one tap.

      Leftovers

      When a cat leaves food and you answer “Another cat had it,” this is the amount of leftovers it needs to reach before it counts as a feed for the cat that ate it. Anything under this threshold won’t count as a feed.

      When a food runs out

      What happens to a food in the feed list once the cupboard says none left. The cupboard itself always keeps showing it.

      Remove a feed

      The last thirty, newest first. Removing one asks what should happen to the food.

      Cupboard changes

      Every change to a cupboard count and what caused it, newest first. Kept on this phone only, never sent to your account and not in your backup. If a count ever looks wrong, copy this and send it over.

      Your list is saved to your account, so it comes back on a new phone. An export is your own copy of it, kept as a file, for the day you cannot get into the account itself.
